Hey guys,

 

We wanted to share some fantastic news with you all today. If you’re already with O2 and looking to get a tablet through us or sign up for an additional line for you or your family, we’ll reward your loyalty with a fantastic 20% monthly discount it. Better yet, you can benefit from up to 20 of these discounts – just in case your family is large enough to occupy a small village. If you’re not with O2 but you’re shopping around for new connections for your family you could be in for a massive saving by switching to us thanks to these additional line discounts.

 

So, how does it work?

If you have a pay monthly contract with us, you can sign up for an additional line with us (tablet for yourself or another phone for one of the family perhaps) for an O2 Refresh or 12-month SIM Only contract and then text LOYALTY to 21500 within 28 days of signing up. We’ll get back to you asking for some additional info and once applied, you’ll see the discount on your next monthly bill.

 

Feel free to visit our online shop and choose a brand new phone, tablet, or mobile broadband device on O2 Refresh, or a 12 month SIM only tariff.

No, no confirmation but Myo2 is showing the discount as a bolt on.

I've tried but can't get through. I got this text back though. wp_ss_20161117_0001.png

I had to resend it because didn't get response to the first one. So my plan is not eligible, its a new 12 month sim only.... Confused.

 

I need to speak to customer services anyway as my two mobile broadband sim only lines are still active despite giving the required 30 days notice to cancel.

On the phone to them just now, they are telling me a whole load of rubbish, first it was only for new 02 refresh contracts. So I gave them the web address, then it changed too I need to have an existing O2 refresh plan.

Having discussed further, (as I upgraded via CPW last Year) I was then told again that sim only plans weren't included in the offer.

As the story kept changing I asked for a complaint to be registered, hoping to get someone who knows what they are talking about to look into the matter.

I very well might not be eligible, but this member of staff didn't even know about the offer in the first place.

I had to push for a complaint refrance number from her. Maybe @Anonymous or @Toby can confirm if its genuine. (821733731).

She then looked at the two mobile broadband accounts and said that notes were on but the cancellation wasn't put through, now I am on hold for another area....... 15 minuets so far....

I'm a little disappointed if I'm honest. Normally when customer services say they will do something, its done.
