Hey all,

Great news for our Pay & Go customers! We’re making a number of our Pay & Go tariffs 4G ready. So, from today (6th May 2016) any of our customers on the tariffs below who top up their allowance (manually or via recurring bill method) will be switched over to 4G.

The Pay As You Go tariffs going 4G include:
- All our Big Bundle tariffs
- All our International tariffs
- All our Big Talker tariffs

And our Legacy tariffs including:
- O2 Text
- Web Pay and Go Go Go

So how does it work, you ask?

Shortly after topping up (from today), you’ll get a text message which reads:
- “O2: Great news. Your Pay As You Go tariff now comes with superfast 4G. If you have 4G Phone, Sim and Coverage you'll be able to use 4G straight away. Find out more at o2.co.uk/4G”

As this stage, your account will be enabled with 4G access. To use 4G, all you need is a 4G compatible device with the latest software, a 4G compatible SIM card and 4G coverage in your area - and then you’re good to go.

(FYI: We're aware of an issue with the 4G setup asssitant page (http://www.o2.co.uk/4g/setup) but are working on fixing it as we speak.)

That's great news for payg users. It's about time imo that payg got the same access to 4g as contract.

There'll be some happy bunnies 😛

Some justification for the price increases?
