Really exciting times - I personally think it's going to revolutionize how we use mobile technology and the internet in general. I think Japan already uses more mobile broadband than fixed broadband, so it'd be really interesting to see how things will change for the UK.
Do you guys think it'll mark a big change in how we use our mobiles and our broadband connections?

@leonard that will depend on the traffic and data limits unless the data limits are close to home adsl and price then I do not see a move away from fixed adsl.
but for rural locations it may be a viable alternative.

So o2 have now won some of 4g auction, how long till we see o2 roll out more 4g handsets and see things get moving?

If you read the news article summer launch.
o2 have for 2 years already been upgrading the network ready for 4g
handests that will be down to the manufactures but look for a handset that is 4g band 20.

Good question, Luke. I'm also quite curious how the development of devices will change because of 4G becoming a mainstream service.
