@Ras1 - you can contact O2 via Social Media, or drop into an O2 Shop to return it there:

You need to speak to Virgin, as your o2 sim card is part of that contract with them, and they will increase your bills to cover the discounts of taking the o2 sim. You will also lose all benefits of Volt. - 0345 454 1111
There is a guide here to cancel the o2 sim card Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
You will also have to renegotiate your price with Virgin as there is a discount for taking both packages.
Thanks

I’m in a similar position, the difference being that I have no 02 sim in my new contract, yet o2 have processed an order and sent one. After spending all morning with VM sorting it out, I’m told I need to speak to O2 to cancel the sim. Once I got through to o2 cancellation I’m told I have to insert the sim into a phone so they can send me a security text before they could access my account to cancel, when I explained that I couldn’t do this and I asked what was their alternative arrangement and the reply was they didn’t have one. So I now have a sim, which they intend to charge me for, that I did not ask for, agree to or sign a contract for. I have since found an old iPhone in the house that accepts the sim so I can try and resolve tomorrow, however when I dial the number provided for the new sim it goes straight to voice mail and no text messages are going through, so looks like back to square one. Been an absolute nightmare
