Why am I paying for pictures?

Recently transferred granddaughters phone from Virgin. Have been billed for 3 pictures at £0.542 each by O2. She is on unlimited minutes, data and messages. are pictures not included? I don't remember getting a bill from Virgin for pictures and the transfer was meant to be like for like. Thank you.

Yes picture messages are chargeable, and are not included in your allowances.


The 2 companies have distinctive billing polices, and VM charge for them and so do o2...  and this is in your Terms and Conditions of what is and isnt included.

 

You have been lucky not to have been charged by Virgin for Picture Messages.

Current Phone: Sony XPeria Pro-I and Motorola Razr 5G
I also have a Planet Computers Gemini

I work in IT as an Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Tools Administrator (Office 365, Slack and much much more) and manage hardware both Mobile and Desktop / laptop, my desk is a bit like PC World
