I have just been transferred over from Virgin to O2 and have been given the Volt O2 Travel Inclusive Zone.
Twice last week, before travelling to USA, I phoned O2 and asked specifically if I used my mobile phone whilst in the USA to phone a USA company would I be charged? I was told twice, by different people, that phone calls would be free of charge along with texts and roaming data.
I have returned to UK to find, whilst I haven’t been charged for roaming data, I have been charged £16.42 for a phone call. I have tried phoning O2 this morning but can’t get any explanation from them

It all depends on if the US Number is chargeable or not in the US, as not all numbers are free to call. Also note not all 001 numbers are in the US, they are across most of North America.

This is a customer to customer community, not O2.
You need to contact O2.
