I am a Pay Monthly customer and travelling to Australia and do not want massive bill.
I was previously told to text TRAVEL for 'Bolt On' £7 per day but got this reply 'O2: Sorry. We're having trouble adding O2 Travel to your account. Please call us (free) on 202 from your mobile.'.
I thought it might be because Spending Cap so I went to My O2 app.
Read that 'Spending Cap' not affect Bolt On fee being taken.
When I went to 'Account' to 'Buy Bolt On' and did the following.
In 'Bolt On Type" selected 'Travel' and in Destination 'Australia'.
The response on the 'Bolt Ons' screen displayed 'Included' highlighted at the top above 'Volt O2 Travel Inclusive Zone' and again 'Included' at the bottom.
How how can I be sure if I have Volt 02 Travel Inclusive or not? And that I will not be charged for using my mobile in Australia to phone within Australia and home to UK? I don't want to chance the occasional call or Whats App when WiFi not available and be charged roaming tariff.
Clarification appreciated please.

@Kim123 - check here for which bolt-ons give you included calls in Australia
https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad
And in your MyO2 app, tap on your number/SIM plan, then Bolt-ons to confirm:
Note Volt Travel Inclusive only applies if you are a customer of both Virgin Media (broadband) and O2.
Make sure your phone supports 4G Calling as well, Australia no longer offers much, if any, 3G service any more (normally fine if your handset is less than 3 years old).
If your calls do get charged, contact O2 via Social Media when on WiFi, using either Instagram or Facebook only, to challenge the charges and get a refund:
https://www.o2.co.uk/abouto2/social-media
Enjoy the holiday, @Kim123.
