Depends, @Boatlady54UK -

O2

Data rollover only with Pay As You Go bundles

O2 lets you roll over your data from one month to the next if you purchase one of its bundles on Pay As You Go, assuming you automatically renew your bundle the next month. However, you can’t roll over data on contracts.

O2 also caps the amount of data you can roll over from one month to the next, with the figure varying based on what bundle you have.

As you will be on contract the answer is no.

The only roll over data on contract is if you have bought a data bolt on, otherwise, your data resets each month in line with your billing period.

Thank you for your reply but, as a customer of Virgin i have now lost that bit of the contract that i signed up for?... So if O2 have broken that part of my agreement can i break from O2 without penalties and go elsewhere?

Virgin offered double data as compensation.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Thanks for this info. I’ve looked all over “My O2” for this with no success. I’ve got to say Virgin have handled this changeover pretty badly for customers. I’ve even tried their forum before I was changed & was told by their mods that basically I’m not their customer so tough.
