My VM contract runs to 22 June 2023 and no changes in price since it started. Second increase from 02 coming in April 2023 for the "free sim".

Can I reduce the 02 sim package, do not need FULL free calls, sms unlimited data etc for the next 3 months till I get a new VM contact ?

VM / 02 [package means everything gets doubled for the 02 sim ?

@Qwakuk

You can flex your tariff in your MyO2..

Look under change tariff for your options.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Qwakuk

It is linked to the deal you took out with Virgin as part of your Broadband contract, and any change in tariff would possibly result in VM upping your broadband cost...

Check your price increase email from VM - mine states:

"If you're not happy with any of the changes announced in this email, including those to our out of home WiFi hotspots and pricing terms and conditions, you can change or cancel your package, including your Volt O₂ sim, any time before 4th April 2023, without paying any cancellation fees."

Unfortunately I'm currently struggling to find anyone from either company to acknowledge this

Not had any email from VM, just the one from 02 today. VM will not increase the price on their bit of the contract

Looks like a typical Virgin Media ##### up

I would get your contracts out and see what you agreed to, as you will have 2 contracts one from o2 and from VM..

If VM have #*&^% up then its up to them to resolve...
