@Perry1

You need to use your old sim card or do a sim swap to activate the new one Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thank you for the fast responce, because i have gone from the Pixel 3 - 4G to the Pixel 5 5G i assumed i would have to use the new sim?

I have activated the sim swap and will have to wait 24 hours to see if this works.

Thanks for your help

Yes, in order to get 5g you will need the sim swap, but phone will still work on 4g with old sim until the swap completes.
