o2 Customer with New Phone not from o2

Hi. I have been awarded a new iphone 11 pro max which is sim free. 

I am on pay as you go with o2 and want to keep on this tarriff with the same number etc how do I do this, do I just need to transfer the sim to the new phone?

I have always upgraded phones direct with o2 in the past so not sure what to do when got separate phone from elsewhere.
