You need a new physical sim to use in the iP5.

Take photo ID into your local O2 shop for the quickest method.

In that case you'll need O2 to send you a sim, which they will only do to your home address and get someone to forward it on to you via a secure delivery service.

If you say your phone won't switch on then no SIM will cure that.

If no signal you will have to report the SIM as lost. O2 will then send out a replacement to your home address.

It's up to you how you get it to Portugal

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
