I'm upgrading my iPhone XR to an iPhone 13 and have been sent a new sim, which I wasn't expecting.
Do I need this or can I just transfer the old sim?
If I need the new sim, do I put the old one in my new phone first and then swap them or can I just put the new one in without fear of losing any of my data?
Or should I switch the new phone on before even putting either sim in?

@Markyboyee Your new sim will be 5g capable, so if you're in a 5G area you can do a sim swap, or you can just use your old sim in the new phone if you're not in a 5G area.

If you're uncomfortable doing the swap yourself, call into an O2 store, if you have one nearby, and they'll do it for you.
