Recently brought a apple iPhone 14 pro but can not get the old sim that was working fine to pick up any signal in my new phone was told to connect 02 but unsure what and where to go need help asap gift for tomorrow

If phone came from O2 it could have a shipping bar on it which Only O2 can remove.

Just tell them the phone isn't connecting to the network with a working sim card in it and ask them to check if there are any bars on the phone.
