i need help setting up a Nokia 3310 3G on O2

I have an o2 pay and go SIM and I have bought a Nokia 3310. It has recognised the O2 SIM immediately no problem. I can make and receive calls and I can send messages. But there are some problems that I need help with:

Problem One, text messages - SMS or MMS - don't show up so I am unable to read them.

Problem Two, I have inserted a 32GB micro SD card, correctly, but it does not show up in the storage settings.

Problem Three, how can I turn on WiFi? I have looked in connectivity but it fails to detect my network and defaults to Opera using data roaming.

btw, there is no wifi connectivity on this phone.
