Hello, I am currently in Italy, my phone does not make normal calls, I cannot listen to incoming calls on the answering machine, it does not call 4444 for top-up, it cannot make calls, I want this not to be broken.

You need to use 4g calling on your phone in Italy as 3G has been switched off.

Unfortunately 4g calling isn't available on PAYG so you will struggle.

Try manually searching for a different network as some may still have 3g services running.

Alternatively, force your phone to 2g if possible for calling purposes.

You can top up via a third party voucher service if required Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)
