Have you allowed gmail and sky app to use mobile data?

Do you have the watch set up with it's own data plan?
Or is it just linked to your phone via bluetooth?

@Hallam

In mobile data settings, scroll down and you will see all apps listed with a switch next to them to turn on/off mobile data use.

Check on the main phone settings and also in the watch app on your phone.

Do you have those apps replicated on your watch too?

In watch app, scroll to the bottom of the first page and you will see 2 sections.

1 - available apps

2 - installed apps.

If they are showing as available, you need to tap on install to load them to watch.
