eSim not working

I have recently until recently been using 2x physical sim cards for the past 6 months whilst i am abroad.

 

I have a new device which only has space for 1 physical sim card and requested a eSim from O2. After installing this on the phone, I have been unable to receive texts on the number it should have. I have restarted the phone several times, i've waited 3 days thinking it might just take some time, and i've tried multiple manual network selections. 

 

I'm unable to sign into the My O2 app on the phone, because (surprise surprise) it needs to send me a code, which I can't get. I'm unable to call 202 as well, as it just ends the call as soon as I hit dial. 

 

Given that i'm overseas at the moment, can anyone help fix this?

What you will need to do is use Skype Guide: A Guide to Skype and call o2 on +44 800 902 0217 and they can activate the esim for you (however if you are still abroad then it may not activate) 

And to be honest you are heading for a world of pain with esim, as people on lots of networks are finding...
