hello,  i live in Buxton and the past few months the O2 coverage has not been consistent.  I am not sure why my bill has gone up in cost when I have had an inconsistent data service from O2

Buxton has had a mast vandalised. I believe it requires a complete rebuild, if not moving.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Other operators use the main broadcast TX there. Re-routing backhaul could potentially be done in weeks/months depending what options there are.

A site re-build will be many months, there may be options for temporary sites but no guarantees.

The service that you receive and the price increase are not connected. This webpage details the latter :-

O2 RPI | Price increases 2024 | O2

The terms and conditions under which O2 operate do not guarantee a level of service, or any service at all for that matter, but you could ask for a credit to your account given the issues that you are facing. You would need to contact O2 to discuss this. Unfortunately, this is a customer to customer community so we cannot access your account.

You can message O2 on social media :-

Facebook : https://o2uk.co/O2CFB

X (previously known as Twitter) : https://o2uk.co/O2CTW

Instagram : https://o2uk.co/O2CIG.

You can also 'phone on 202 or 0344 809 0202 if you are a contract customer or on 4445 or 0344 8090222 if you are PAYG.

A complete schedule of how to contact O2 is in :-
