Resolved! multiple incoming texts from bank and pharmacist

since wednesday my wife has been receiving multiple automated texts from bank [ expected one time pass code now sent numerous times ] and pharmacy [ expected confirmation of prescription now sent numerous times ] texts are coming through the night......
