I have an Apple Watch and was on O2 PAYG. I have now changed to a monthly charged rolling plan. My Apple Watch says the O2 mobile service is not supported. Can anyone advise please?

I have just arrived in Germany and my data isn't working at all. I am connected to O2 and there is a little R above the network (full bars also). I never received a text advising me of my usage in Germany either. I need help asap.
