I keep getting a message every day to say I have new voicemail but I ring up and there is no voicemail. Why?

@Brenda18

You need to call your phone from another and leave yourself a message.

Then listen to it and delete it from your phone.

Reboot and the message should clear.

@Brenda18

I have been getting phantom voicemail messages on O2 for years. Following the advice given by @MI5 will clear the problem but you might well find that it recurs at a random point in the future. I don't have voicemail turned on so I just delete the message whenever it pops up.

Unfortunately, there dies not seem to be a permanent cure for the problem.
