Why is my text allowance on o2 being used when I haven't sent any text messages? Also, I rarely use mobile data but my allowance during this billing period has apparently almost been used up. What could have gone wrong and how can these anomalies be rectified?

If you received a text message advising you of this, it could simply be a fake, scam or spam message.
If you used your MyO2 to check, and you definitely have not sent any SMS messages yourself, then, @Aquamaria27, you will need to contact O2. The best way to do that is via Social Media using either of the links just below, and being persistent until an agent engages with you. Good luck!
