Upgraded to SIM only and lost iphone visual voicemail

I was switched to a SIM only contract today and lost my iphone (12) visual voicemail. I called customer services twice and was told that they couldn't reactivate. I read a similar problem on this forum and tried to explain that they needed to activate iData but they said they couldn't. Please please can someone help. I can't face phoning O2 for a fourth time and for another hour..... *crying*

Just a pity that customer service can't do the most basic of things these days.....

Hi @Dave-O2 are you able to help us with this please? Had no luck on the phone to customer services (my wife and I have both lost our visual voicemail after upgrading our SIM only tariff recently)

@Dave-O2 why is this so dificult for customer service to rectify?

The website even asks if you are going to use iphone or android?

I'm currently speaking with @Ozzy-1607 to try and piece together the order journey and if something needs to be fixed when selecting the device for SIM Only deals.
