I have upgraded from iPhone 4g to iPhone 5g.
did the sim swap all things good with phone , but my Apple Watch won’t apply the data plan.
I pay for the data plan to allow me to use Watch when phone isn’t with me.

The data plan needs to be unregistered from your old phone
