Solved: Unblock an old phone

I recently upgraded my phone and have given my old phone to my son to use. I need O2 to unblock the old phone. I have already requested this (providing the IMEI no)and was told 8 days ago that I would hear back in 7 days. Is there an issue with this? Thanks

Might be done already depending on type of phone.

Try another non O2 sim.
