Hi, apologies if I'm not posting on the right board - first time I've been on here.

Quick background:

I'm an O2 customer (have been for years).

Bought a new phone from O2 which came with a new sim, number and tariff.

Trying to keep my old O2 number (so no PAC code required).

Unable to submit request.

Can't speak to anyone as call gets cut off (not high priority).

Tried calling into the O2 store - was told to ignore new sim and insert old one (didn't even get through the door). I can't do this as I won't be on the new tariff and I've got two bills showing up on my account now.

Please can anyone help/advise? I'm pulling my hair out here. O2 have always provided a great service but I'm feeling really let down right now.

Thanks

GG

@GG66

You need to contact O2 and ask them to migrate your number.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or 202 from your O2 mobile.
Advice from an O2 Guru to get through:
When you call 202, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
