Unable to get 4G abroad

I’m France now,  Austria before and USA as well.  Cannot get better than 3G service.  Others around me get 4G

I presume the 'others around you' are on different networks to O2?

Check your network settings and change if needed.

Try another network

Reboot your phone.

Very little else you can do really, other than purchasing a local PAYG sim if you want 4G.

To be honest when I had an apartment in Spain, we could only get 3G there. I found that perfectly acceptable.
