Just once today I got through to a real person on a chat, although wasn’t helpful saying wait till you get your sim then we’ll help you tried phoning, equally terrible, passed from one person to another, after going through all security every time. Is there a working link for real person live chat ?O2 gave me
https://link.liveperson.net/click?key=AF575778A6A74C05
but it doesn’t work, Tesco mobile customer service were so good, hope I haven’t made a mistake changing to O2, logged in and says can’t have Volt, ( why Volt, the phone support keep think I’m saying bolt) because don’t have virgin BB bit I do, have done for 10 years…..used PAC when order sim only deal, but the email I got said to make sure I enter the new number in my phone…..or is that a standard message, can’t afford to lose the number I have now…….really worried

@Reddwarf4ever See this guide for Volt: Volt Megaguide - O2 Community
Live Chat is useless.
If you need to speak to customer service:
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202 or 0800 032 1402 from any phone or numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Thanks very helpful. Just received my O2 sim, swopping from Tesco mobile. Found this deal, it’s not on the O2 site, £6 pay monthly unlimited texts and minutes, 4gb data,
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheap-mobile-finder/sim-only/o2/
hopefully the Volt thing works and will get 8 go data and a BB speed increase. Customer service isn’t good, I remember in the old days O2 were really good, I spent ages on the phone yesterday asking about VOLT, at the end of the conversation, having confirmed my sim was coming my PAC would work etc, he said “ anything else ?” I said what about the question I phoned you about VOLT ? He said couldn’t do anything till my sim arrived, couldn’t see why, but that was that 🤯
