Transferring old number (other provider) to O2 sim card

Hi,

I have just received my new O2 sim card and it was already activated. I am bringing my old number over fom Talkmobile and i provided my PAC code when i order my O2 sim card through Virgin Media. 

How long will it take for the old number to transfer over? and how can i check that the PAC was provided to O2 for the transfer to take place?

I would call them if you haven't received a date by text message

or fill in the form again

Thanks, do you have a number? Maybe its me but the O2 chat facility and trying to find a phone number for customer services is a nightmare!

Now need to sort out why i am only getting 5MB and not 10MB of data as i got the sim via Virgin media.
