Transferring number to new iphone

I have recently got a new iPhone. Everything, such as my apps and photos have transferred to this new iPhone, however the number hasn’t. How do I transfer my old number onto my new iPhone (both on 02 contract) ?

You just need to put in your old sim and it will work.
