Transfer sim and data to new phone

Just awaiting a new samsung S20 ultra big screen. Is it possible to copy everything to it from my S8 but retain the S8 to take out occasionally when S20 too big? Don't suppose a duplicate sim is possible but could I interchange between phones when necessary?

Everything is backed up to Google so will download automatically to new phone when you login.

Nothing will be deleted off old phone at all.

There is likely nothing at all on your sim these days.

Hi @Bruce2 

They both take a Nano sim so you could use the sim in either phone.

Edited to add, you wouldn't be able to get a duplicate sim.

Thanks. If I transfer all data, like contacts, off one to the other, can I retain the set up on both? Not sure what's saved to the phone and what to the sim!
