Texts from second number

Hi all.

Just looking for some advice. I recently got a new phone and transferred my number over but sometimes when I text people it comes from a second number.

How would I go about getting this sorted?

For an iPhone, check Settings >Phone >My Number

For Android, look in message app settings under advanced > RCS

Make sure your number shown is the one you are using then save it and reboot the phone.

I couldn't see advance settings. There was more settings on my android but there was nothing about RCS only a message centre which wasn't any number I've seen before

The message centre number is the sms control so only change it if wrong.
