Texts being sent from my new O2 number not my old number I want to keep

It's been 4 days now since I swapped my sim where I asked to keep my old number. 

When I make a call it's fine as these come from my old number but any text messages I send are still coming from my new O2 number - can anyone advise please?

You need to change the number in the settings what phone do you have?

Thanks for the reply, since I posted this I googled this and as a result, I went into my text settings and changed my chat settings and this has now solved it and my texts are now being sent from my old number which I want to keep.
