Texting radio numbers

I want to change my plan so I can enter competitions on the radio how do I do this? Won’t let me send messages to short numbers

Most likely a spend cap on the account. 

 If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Some short numbers incur a charge - eg, 88291 for BBC Radio 2 will cost you 30p on a PAYG Big Bundle!

You can increasingly use WhatsApp to contact radio stations: 08000 288291 works for BBC Radio 2.
