Hi.  I'm looking at switching my flip 4 to flip 6.  Online when  completing the checks it asks about screen damage and states:

NOTE: Signs of screen burn include screen discoloration and missing pixels. The issues will not prevent you from being able to switch up.

I have one pixel missing towards the bottom of my phone, will it be accepted in the switch up? What I don't want is the phone to be rejected, I not get it backe and then be left paying 2 contracts.

Can anyone help?

I would suggest doing the switchup in store rather than online, as they can check the phone and it takes away the risk, as if you send it in an there are multiple pixels dead they will bill you for the new phone.

And I would always recommend doing SwitchUps in store...

Until they look at it and make an assessment you won't know. You may not get the full value for the phone and have to make up the difference

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Back again slight_smile still haven't done the switch yet.

Something I forgot to ask was do you need the sim card when you use switch up? I won't be getting them to set the phone up instore but the sim won't be in the phone either obviously so won't receive any texts they might send me.

The sim needs to be in the phone at switchup, but you take it out once its complete and take it with you...

They will send some texts to you whilst its been done...
