Swapping a SIM card

I’m o2 business customer and I have massive issues with coverage at my home and place of work.

Over years, I received 2 sim cards from o2, but I have never swapped them. Can a new sim help with the coverage issues?

If I were to swap SIMs, what do I need to do to not lose any data / settings, in other words what data is stored on a SIM card (contacts, text messages, any settings I may need to reset or reactivate?).

Thanks!

Unlikely to make a significant difference but may have some benefits.

Nothing is stored on the sim these days so you won't lose anything.

How to here Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

or pop into your local O2 store and they will do it for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
