Hello, the battery on my iPhone has died. I have tried placing my SIM into another iphone, but it says that the SIM is not supported and that I should request that it be unlocked by my network provider. I live in France but both the phone and SIM are both UK compatible. Thanks Matt

SIM not supported usually means the iPhone is locked to a particular carrier

You can find out if your iPhone is locked by going to Settings > General > About. If "No SIM restrictions" appears next to Carrier Lock, your iPhone is unlocked".

As you SIM worked fine in your other phone it won't be restricted in any way

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
