Hi, Ive been with o2 a long time. So have had my mobile number a long time. I’ve recently ordered an upgrade sim via Uswitch (better deal) . Which redirected me to o2’s website It’s arriving in the post. So my question is “ will I still have my same mobile number”? If not what do I do to keep it? To be honest I was expecting not to be getting a new sim as I put in the info page I was already a customer.

@Mrs9

It will likely be a blank sim but if it has a new number, you just need to call O2 to migrate your number across to it.

If the sim is blank, your current sim will have been updated already so just carry on using that one.

Edit for contact numbers:

All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or 202 from your O2 mobile.
Advice from an O2 Guru to get through:
When you call 202, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
