Some things to try:

1 - Reboot phone.
2 - Manually search for a different network
3 - If using an iPhone, change data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
4 - Check with O2 for any roaming bars.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

Sounds like you need a new sim card which you can only get one delivered to the UK.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to arrange this for you.

Have you turned Airplane Mode off? As @MI5 pointed out above - you may either have a bar (contact O2 in this case, links to contact O2 via Social Media below this post) an incorrect (if iPhone) data apn (fix described above or in Guide below), or a 5G SIM that can't find a 5G signal (this you can fix by switching from 5G to 4G or even to 3/2G in your network settings and rebooting the phone).

Worst case, @SopHiron, as @madasaf1sh says, your SIM is toast (rare if all was cool 2hrs previously in UK).

All forum troubleshooting tips for network here if you need them: Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Good luck!

@SopHiron Customer service in the UK can't fix anything unless you contact them. You may need to have roaming enabled on your account. Instructions on how to download and use Skype to call UK 0800 numbers for free can be found here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

You can also reach O2 through the social media links given above.
