Signal is incredibly poor, live in central E1 London

As the title says, I live just outside of the city of London, about 10 minutes walk at most, there's been poor signal quality in both phone calls and data with O2. I checked the signal tracker and there was an issue with the mast, however this was over 3 months ago and there's been no change to the status of the mast nor the signal quality. I selected to track updates and the last text I received was:

"Sorry to report we haven’t been able fix your issue yet.

We won’t be in touch again until we’ve fixed things for you."

At the start of February. Is there anything I can do about this? Seems like it's perpetually broken and affecting my quality of service to the point where I can't make phonecalls. Workphone with Vodafone has a stacked signal here.

In the interim, while O2 get to that mast (as @madasaf1sh notes, delays abound!), if your phone is capable and supported, and you have good WiFi at home, you could use Voice over WiFi to tide you over until your nearest mast is repaired, more here:

And do use the O2 Network Status Checker or app every couple of days, just to remind them, as mentioned in here: Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Good luck!

It all depends on where the mast is an access / parts been available, as some masts take longer to fix than others.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
