Hello,

I have just purchased a pre-owned Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact.

My home location has very poor signal coverage so I want to try using WiFi calling when the mobile signal drops out.

My phone doesn't seem to support it at the moment and I believe this is because it does not have O2 firmware .

How can I resolve this issue?

Thank you.

@MI5 No there is no issue activating it on account at all but will be ineffective if handset firmware is not compatible.

Aware of that @O2Emma but may as well do it in case an alternative solution can be found.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
