Can't help you with the cracked back of the phone. If you don't have insurance you can contact Samsung support and see how much it would cost to fix it. You'd have to send it off and that will leave you without a phone, unless you have a backup.

Because of the current crisis, the O2 repairs department is closed. If you have insurance with O2 you will need to call to make a claim. You can call customer service in the morning, but it's very difficult to get through. Best time to try to call is 8 am. All the numbers are in the link below.

Either way, you may want to think about buying a cheap phone from Argos or Tesco for now and put your sim in that.
