Hello, I am trying to use an o2 sim in an old Doro phone which was previously used for an o2 sim but it is asking for a SP code -why is this? And where would I get one? Thanks

Hello @McNult

Welcome to the o2 Community forum.

A request for an SP code is asking for a service provider code. This means that the Doro is locked to another provider.

Wonder if this guide helps?

Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card

Or ask o2 customer services

Hi, I have contacted o2 as suggested above to see if they can help. Said it could take up to seven days. So hopefully that will be able to sort it. I am just confused as the phone used to be used with an o2 sim!

Hi there @McNult

That is good. It will get done and you can start to use your phone again.

Best wishes TallTrees
