Does anyone have any news re when/if O2 will be providing SMS via the internet?

What will also need clarifying is will the O2 implementation of Wifi Calling with SMS support work on non-O2 firmware phones?  In my case Samsung S10E running Android 11.  I ask this as I need to get off Vodafone as their signal is almost non existent here but O2 is better though not brilliant.

Have you tried EE?

EE has no signal either in the house or outside.  When Openreach engineers who use EE visit to fix broadband issues they have to walk down the road to get a signal.
Vodafone needs a 200m walk down the garden to get a signal outside.
Three is not available either in or out..
