Moto edge20 lite, uptodate and running android 12
Chat features turned on....
So, someone send me a text I might get it,or I might not... and then if i do , it will be repeated, and repeated and repeated. Could be a friend or worse style a 2fa for the bank/paypal etc..... so then I cant use that service....
Cleared cache/app data, tried with chat on and off, but no.....

I've tried that sadly, and they've not got back to me, hence a forum post, appreciate most people will be members and not able to help, but I hope a friendly o2 person may be around......

Did you port your number in or is it a new number?
As that looks like an SMSC centre or the Originator not processing the SMS Correctly (and getting a retry message), and this is usually down to a ported in number
There is no one around on a Sunday from o2 at all...

It is indeed, ported, and its a longstanding number, that i think might have even originated back in the day with cellnet....but i could be wrong on that! It does feel like a retry and its invariably on the hour or 2 or 4 or 8... so that would make sense. I might try calling again tomorrow.....
