Can I use my pay-monthly O2 SIM-only SIM card in a SIM7600G-H 4G USB Dongle?

Available from : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Waveshare-SIM7600G-H-Industrial-Communication-Positioning/dp/B08BZKTZDJ

or from Pi-Hut: https://thepihut.com/products/sim7600g-h-4g-usb-dongle?variant=40340442185923

The board accepts a 1.8V/3V Nano sim card.

You can temporarily but any extended use will result in the sim being blocked.

O2 stipulate that you must use a data only sim in a dongle, mifi device etc.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thank you. That is helpful. I hadn't noticed that section in the Fair Usage Policy.

Is there a recommended Data-only SIM to use in a Dongle connected to a Raspberry Pi?

The Raspberry Pi has a small camera and is set up to take wild-life photos. I am only expecting to connect to it two or three times a week, to check on progress, and download a few photos. Not using it as a continuous web-cam. Perhaps I can ask O2 if that is acceptable if I stay within the 5GB monthly data limit?

A 5gb data sim is £11 per month.
