Roaming in Italy is not working for my daughter.

my daughter arrived in Italy today and received an text welcoming her to Italy - she also had something to say that her data/roaming will work there. But nothing seems to be working at all. She has rebooted and removed sim card for a while. Anyone got any ideas?

@PinkPig180 - These are some tips to try :

• Make sure roaming *and* roaming data are enabled
• Make sure the phone is set to 4G or 5G, as there is no 3G in Italy any more
• Check 4G Calling
• Toggle airplane mode on then off again
• Disable WiFi Calling 
• Reboot phone.
• Manually search for a different network
• If using an iPhone, change data apn to  mobile.o2.co.uk
• Call customer service to check for any roaming bars - O2 Social Media Team Info in the link just below this post they should be able to help you with this
• If only WiFi works, use WhatsApp for calls and messaging, but both parties will need to be using the app.
