I arrived in Cyprus on Wednesday and received a text message advising me that if I want to use data in Cyprus I need to buy a Zone 3 bolt on ??

from everything I have read Cyprus is in the Europe Zone and on previous visits all text and data come out of my existing allowance .

I am not in northern Cyprus which is a Zone 3 so how can I be sure that I am not being charged for using my data.

Manually select a southern network to lock on it.
