Returning an upgrade to exchange

I collected my upgrade phone  yesterday but didnt realise how small it was going to be when ordered.I would like to return it and exchange to a different phone but keep my tariff package.Cant seem to find a place to chat to anyone.It says if bought online then need to sendit back and cant take it to the shop.All chat places keep diverting me to different place and no chat with anyone
